4. SMS Communications & Twilio

If you opt in to SMS notifications during checkout by checking the "Text me booking updates" checkbox and providing your phone number, you consent to receive automated transactional text messages. Your mobile phone number and opt-in data are collected solely for the purpose of sending you these transactional booking messages. Messages are sent using Twilio, Inc., a third-party cloud communications platform.

• Waitlist availability notifications
• Group invite notifications
• Post-experience review requests

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies (typically 1-3 messages per booking), plus occasional waitlist, group invite, or review messages.

Consent: Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase. You may complete your booking without opting in.

Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation. No further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe. Reply HELP for assistance.

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. We do not charge for SMS messages.

Data Shared with Twilio: When you opt in to SMS, your phone number, message content, and delivery status are transmitted to Twilio for message delivery. Twilio processes this data as a service provider on our behalf and in accordance with Twilio's Privacy Policy. We do not authorize Twilio to use your data for any purpose other than delivering messages on our behalf. No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Information may be shared with service providers (such as our SMS delivery vendor) solely to deliver the messages you have requested. We retain SMS opt-in records as required by carrier and FCC rules.

Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• Blade (Booking Platform): Powers our online booking, customer management, and communications. Blade stores your booking data, contact information, and account details.
• Stripe or Square (Payment Processing): Processes your payment securely. We do not store full credit card numbers. Payment data is handled per Stripe's or Square's privacy policies.
• Twilio (SMS Delivery): Transmits text messages when you opt in. Receives your phone number, message content, and delivery status. See Twilio's Privacy Policy.
• Resend (Email Delivery): Sends booking confirmation and reminder emails. Receives your email address and message content.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights or safety.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit, secure payment processing, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
